When the colder season arrives, we change our culinary tastes somewhat. Our daily menus include dishes that we tend to avoid in summer. To lift our mood on cold days, we like to reach for a mug of warming drinking chocolate.

Our sweet suggestion is a dark drinking chocolate with 72% cocoa content.

Artisan chocolate from bean to bar, which is made from a blend of aromatic cocoa beans sourced. Refined (crushed) and conched (blended) in a traditional stone mill over 70 hours. Find out more about how we make our chocolate ?

How to prepare dark hot chocolate for drinking ?

Many people ask us how to make good hot chocolate. When preparing, we should remember not to boil the chocolate, only to heat it to approx. 60 – 70 degrees and we should stir it slowly all the time during preparation, good chocolate does not like to be rushed.

Proportion 1

Cup of very thick dark chocolate

140 ml portion – cup

Prepare approx. 70 ml 18 % cream (or 35 ml 30% cream and 40 ml milk), add approx. 70 g. of chocolate. Heat to approx. 60 – 70 degrees slowly stirring until the chocolate melts. Once melted, the chocolate is ready to drink.

Proposal 2

A mug of dark chocolate to drink

Portion approx. 230 ml – mug

Prepare 200 ml of milk, add 2 tablespoons of chocolate (approx. 30 g). Heat, stirring constantly, until the chocolate has melted.
