Unusual cocoa beans and unusual cooperation.
The plate you are holding was created in collaboration between Janek from Beskid Chocolate and Piotr Krzciuk. Peter has been popularizing the topic of real chocolate made from cacao bean to bar since 2009 through his blog and store Secrets of Chocolate. We created the first, extremely limited batch in preparation for the Beskydy Chocolate Festival in October 2023. The positive feedback we heard about this chocolate at the festival tastings encouraged Janek to enter this chocolate bar into the Academy of Chocolate competition. On 15 December, the results of the competition were announced and, as it turned out, the Peru Piura Blanco Sekrety Czekolady 75% bar received a bronze medal in the most difficult dark/bitter chocolate category.
