From the state of Carabobo in Venezuela, bordering the Caribbean Sea, comes the Puerto Cabello cacao. It is also the name of the port from where these beans sailed to distant Europe. In the Canoabo Region it is common to find the Criollo variety, these beans are dominated by chocolate and fruity aromas – mainly cherries.
